Abstract
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dr. Hans-Jurgen Sann on Tuesday, May 27th 2003. He was a precious collaborator of the ALICE experiment and will be sorely missed as a colleague and for many of us as a dear friend. We offer our deepest sympathy to his family.
