Abstract
This work is offered as an independent academic survey and critical analysis. It engages with the public record of the discussion opened by Terence Tao’s 2026 International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) public lecture, Mathematics in the Age of AI, as well as with the broader technical and philosophical literature on artificial intelligence and mathematical practice.
